Michelle Marie Maner

Michelle was born on December 24, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late James and Barbara Maner. She attended Perry High School and graduated in 1979. She attended the University of Georgia and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Augusta College. She worked at the UGA Health Center for 11 years. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed exercising, traveling, and UGA Athletics.

Michelle is survived by her daughter, Lena Smith; son, Marlan Adams (Taylor); grandson, Spencer Adams; sisters: Vicki Lee, Lori Stokes, Lisa Gammage, Julie Collins, Jackie Castillo, and Andrea Rojas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, James R. Maner, and her mother, Barbara Nault Maner.

A Funeral Mass will be held at the Catholic Center at the University of Georgia on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation will be held at Bernstein Funeral Home on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
