Rachel was born November 8, 1936, in Slough, England to David John and Artulus Rees. Rachel married her husband, Robert “Bob” in Slough, England in 1957.
Rachel is survived by five children: Cynthia (Bruce) Ward of Bakersfield, CA, Debbie (Mike) Baker and Denise (Kenny) Baker of Rapid City, SD, David Carlson of Jefferson, GA, and Beth (Jim) Timmerman of St. Cloud, FL. She has six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; grandsons: Travis M. Baker and Richard F. Ward; a granddaughter, Melisa M. Flanagan; her brother, David and sisters: Hilda, Rita and Meirwen.
Rachel's hobbies included sewing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
