Born in Elberton, Mrs. Knight was the daughter of the late Jeff O. and Mildred Gaines Teasley. A hard worker, she worked as coil winder for Westinghouse and enjoyed gardening—especially laying sod. Mrs. Knight loved her family and was a longtime member of Prospect Methodist Church in the Fairplay community of Morgan County.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Carroll Bond and a grandson, Chris Bond.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Terrell Eugene Knight; sons: Gerald Bond (Debbie) and Joel Bond, all of Watkinsville; grandchildren: Melissa Pennington (Eric), Shannon Kilgore (Randy), Michael Bond (Jill) and Natalie Bond; five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home, followed by services at 11:00 a.m., in the Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum.
