

Sarah spent her career in retail working for Heery’s Clothes Closet and Foster’s Jewelers as well as time spent in her later years working with children at Jack and Jill Nursery. Sarah was a lifelong member of Young Harris United Methodist Church and a member of the Older Gems.
She was an active in many social organizations including a charter member beginning in 1956 of the Town and Country Garden Club, Circle #3 and she loved playing canasta with her card group.
Sarah is survived by her brother Louis Eidson (Latrelle) of Winterville, Ga.; her daughter Ginger Bullock Hooten (David) of Columbus, Ga.; her son, George Kenneth Bullock of New York; grandchildren Jacob Kent Hooten (Lindsay) of Alpharetta, Ga. and Kate Hooten Sides (Daniel) of Valley, Al.; great grandchildren, Jackson David Hooten, Taylor Ann Hooten and Sarah Kate Sides; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, October 17th at Young Harris United Methodist Church at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church in Athens, Ga.
