Serena was born November 15, 1934, a daughter of the late Adgel G. and Annie Parten Owens. She retired from Coble Dairy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Nation; son, Ricky Hollis; brother, Cecil Owens and sisters: Frances Tate and Onita Wray.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Jimmy Tate, Sandra Archer, Tommy Tate, Denise Layton, Tammy Hoopaugh and Kim Owens.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home.
