Victor Edwin Couch

A native of Athens, Mr. Couch was the son of the late Lawrence Bruce Couch and Vicky Lorene Bales Couch. He served in the United States Air Force from 1975-1979 and was a former police officer with the City of Watkinsville. Mr. Couch was employed with Windstream Telephone Company as a transport engineer and attended Princeton United Methodist Church during his youth.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Couch of Mt. Airy, GA, her children, Andrew and Bridget Shirley ; His son Justin Couch with wife, Brenna, of Winder; and his daughter, Amanda Couch- Tibbs of Bethlehem; sister, Cathy Heard with husband, Shaefer, of Bishop; grandchildren, Emma, Brady, Bowie, and Brianna; nieces, Cristin and Callie Heard, and a great-nephew, Avery Heard.

A graveside service will be held 10AM Friday, July 15th at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. DeeDee Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Thursday, July 14th at Bernstein Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
