A native of Madison County he was the son of the late John Henry Toole and Mattie Mae Butler Toole. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Sharon Hulsey, brothers Rev. Elmer Butler, Joel Toole, William Boyd, Bobby Toole, Sr. and Robert Boleman; sisters Edna Drake, Lizzie Baxter, Ellie Mae Toole and Brenda Patton. Mr. Toole was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include step children Bobby Toole, Jr, Carolyn Johnson, Rhonda Bates and Brandi Jones; brothers Jimmy Toole, Henry Toole, William (Brother) Toole, and Junior Toole; sisters Lillie Sorrow, Mary Chambers, Sue Moody and Linda McConnell. A number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 3 pm Sunday, April 6th, at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Frankie Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Watkinsville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-9pm Saturday, April 5th, at Bernstein.
