
Abron Brinson (Abe), 80, of Dunwoody, GA transferred to Heaven September 21, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; son, Barron, of Dunwoody, GA; daughter, Gina Gay, wife of Roger Gay; granddaughter, Ashley Gay and grandson, Connor Gay of Roswell, GA; daughter, Vicki Williams, wife of Scott Williams, of New York, NY; brother Bobby Brinson, of Albany, GA; sister Mary Elizabeth Maples of Zephyrhills, FL; Sara Ragan of Macon, GA; Anita Brinson of Albany, GA; Claree Lodge of Camilla, GA; nieces and nephews. Mr. Brinson served eight and a half years in the United States Air Force, primarily in the Honor Guard. Upon completion of military service, he attended and graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1960 with an Industrial Management degree. Subsequently, he was employed in Sales and Account Management for 36-1/2 years, retiring from Packaging Corporation of America in 1996. He enjoyed officiating High School Basketball as an avocation for 15 years. He was a faithful and active member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta since 1957. He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as a man of honor and integrity, with an outgoing personality, quick wit, and a great love for the Lord Jesus Christ, his church and his family. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 25 th at 12 noon at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Roswell, Georgia.
