Albert "Boo" was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to Raymond Alonzo Spitler and Molly Harrell Spitler on October 20, 1928. He married Agnes Elizabeth Morrison on July 17, 1953.
Albert graduated from the University of Georgia - Atlanta division and worked as convention manager for the Life Insurance Company of Georgia.
Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Morrison Spitler; his son, Richard Harrell Spitler; his brother, Raymond Alonzo Spitler II; and his sister, Wight Pennington.
Albert is survived by his son, Bill Spitler; grandchildren Brandon, Michael, Taylor, Jonathan, Tiffany, Richard, and Karen; and his great-grandchildren Averee, Shelby, Paisley, Ridge, Lydia, Johnny, Waylon, Channing, and Finn.
A visitation for Albert will be held Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. A committal service will occur at Arlington Memorial Park.
