Anne E Hope

Anne (Elliott) Hope of Doraville, Ga was born October 3rd, 1934 and left us on June 6th, 2011. The third child and only daughter of Bryan and Ruth Elliott of Newborn, Ga. Anne attended Covington school with brothers Ray, Larry (predeceased) and younger brother Charles of Gainesville, Fl. With the grace and beauty of a true southern belle, her charm radiated whenever she entered a room, however it was her genuine smile and sweet southern drawl that captured the heart of her life long love, Jim W. Hope, to whom she devoted 53 years. They were graced with 2 sons Wm (Billy) Hope of Hoschton, Ga. and Jim P (Jimmy) Hope of Duluth. Anne retired from a successful career with Rhodes furniture, but did not stop living. She enjoyed her passion of the floristry where her arrangements were in great demand. Reading was her other one of her favorite activities, as long as she had a book in her hand, she had a friend by her side. She leaves to cherish her memories, her grandchildren Brice Hope of Conyers, Ga., Brett Hope of Winder, Ga., and Great Grandchildren Madison, Tyler, Jackson Hope, and a host of other relatives and friends. We would like to thank Altus House and Hospice Inc. for their loving care in her final days. Funeral Services will be held at H.M.Patterson & Sons Funeral Home, 4550 Peachtree Rd NE Atlanta, GA 30319 on Thursday June 9th at 10am. The family will receive guest for visitation on Wednesday June 8th from 6pm to 8pm
