Daniel Marshall Coursey III

Daniel was born in Atlanta on December 16, 1971. He graduated from Marist High School in 1990, attended the Pratt Institute in New York for one year and graduated from Georgia State University in 1996. After teaching English in Prague, Czech Republic for three years, he lived and worked in New York. He returned to Atlanta in 1999 to help care for his ill mother. He primarily worked in food service for various caterers, the Cherokee Country Club and the Piedmont Driving Club. He ran in numerous July 4th Peachtree Road Races including the most recent one.

He is survived by his father, step mother Heidi Schluter Coursey, sister Dr. Deborah Joiner and brother Russ Joiner.
