So sorry I didnt attend Dee's service. I didn't hear about it until too late. I understand if was a real happening! Dee would have loved it.What a perfect place to hold it! So sorry to learn of Dee's passing. Some of the fondest memories of my life are of growing up at Murphey Candler park and playing for the Atlanta Colts. It is people like Dee Scoggins that made it so special for my generation and the generations to follow. Thank you, Dee, for all of the young lives that you touched!

Dee was a special woman who touched so many from the "kids" at Murphey Candler Park, whether Colts football or MCLL baseball. She was a long time volunteer-organizer-fundraiser and more, and along with legendary Coach Mac Scoggins were an amazing team. The kids loved her then and as they grew up. She could talk the talk and walk the walk! She was a wonderful matriarch to her family who did so much. Her memory and legacy will live on..from generation to generation.

I worked with Dee for many years at Murphy Candler Park;  and my son A. J. Paracsi played for Mac;  I'm so sorry she has left us at such a young age;  she will be remembered by so very many and how fitting to have a memorial at Murphy Candler--just what she would want.

May God Bless you and your family.  You can't think of Murphy Candler without thinking of Dee and Mac Scoggins.  Lots of love sent your way.  I'm sorry for your loss.  She is leaving behind a wonderful legacy.  So many good memories.  I know she is watching and having a very good day.

Mac, It has been many years since I had seen Dee but we had been keeping in touch on FB until she became sick. Whenever I think of Murphey Candler Park it is impossible to not remember Dee, because she was always there with her big smile. I graduated From CHS with Dolores.  I remember her as a lovely, intelligent, friendly person. When I saw her at our 50th reunion, she was very much the same. I cannot imagine Dee is gone.  She helped keep my business going from the early 90's until a month or so ago.  Always quick with an "I love you" and willing to do whatever she could to help.  We will miss her terribly.
