Dorothy Houston 94, a 4th generation Atlantan died peacefully in her sleep Sunday April 12, 2015.Dorothy was the wife of Sam Houston Jr. for 50 years where she was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was a residence in Buckhead and a member of Northside United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She is survived by her son, Sam Houston III; daughters, Carol Fipps and Gail Jameson and her husband Jerry; and son, Martin Houston and his wife Susy Meier. Grandson, Sam Houston IV; and great grandson, Sam Houston V. A private service was held at Arlington Memorial Park In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Weinstein Hospice 3150 Howell Mill Rd.
