Dorothy J. Townsend of Lawrenceville died September 6, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband William Palmer Sword and her daughter Kelly Jean Sword, 5 sisters, 2 brothers and her parents. She is survived by children, Denise Maynard of Lawrenceville and Steve Townsend of Talmo, Ga., 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She worked for McGraw-Hill for 35 years and retired as an administrator. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Funeral services will be held Thursday September 10 at 2 o’clock at Spring Hill, interment will follow at Crest Lawn. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Patterson’s Spring Hill Chapel.
