Doña Vangie is survived by her daughters, Estrella (Rosario) Rodgers and Vangie Rosario Zumaran, “Abu” to her grandchildren: Paul M. Rodgers, Gabriela M. Zumaran, Kristopher J. Rodgers, and Andres M. Zumaran; and one great grandson: Steven Rodgers.
Doña Vangie was a pharmacist in Puerto Rico for 63 years. She was the center of our family, hosting many Christmas and other celebrations with the entire Lebron clan. She was an active member of her parish Santa Luisa de Marillac Catholic Church in San Juan serving in the choir (playing the organ and singing) and many other ministries.
In lieu of flowers the family graciously asks donations to be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
