Gayle E. England Kennedy

Gayle England Bickerstaff Kennedy died on September 12, 2014. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 2, 1925 to Mr. and Mrs. William G England and was predeceased by her son David Dean Bickerstaff, her husband Charles A. Bickerstaff Junior who died in 1969, her second husband Albert Thornton Kennedy, her sister Martha England Gunn, and her son-in-law William P. Mallard. She is survived by her son, Charles Bickerstaff (Jayne), and her daughters, Cindy Bickerstaff Mallard and Martha Bickerstaff Brown (Don),her five grandchildren and great granddaughter. She is also survived by her dear friends and caretakers Ted Tetterton and Linda Gray. Mrs. Kennedy's interests included The Shepherd Spinal Clinic, Children's Medical Center, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and The Forward Arts Foundation. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to a charity of their choice. Family visitation will be at H. M. Patterson & Son - Spring Hill on Monday, September 15th, 2014 from 6 until 8 o'clock. Services will be held Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 at 11 o'clock at First Presbyterian Church followed by a church reception and interment at Westview Cemetery
