Dr. George H. Morden

passing after an extended battle with ALS on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the age of

78 years old. Dr. Morden will fondly be remembered by his wife of 55 years, Barbara and his

children Melanie, Skip and Callahan. Dr. Morden will also be fondly remembered by his

grandchildren; Gil, Logan, Rick, Jacob, Sam, Candler, Abby and Charley. He was also

survived by his sister, Bonnie Jean Gulsby. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Garnet

and Jean Morden. Dr. Morden was born in Geneva, New York and raised his family and ran his

successful private dental practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Morden attended North Fulton High

School, graduated top of his class from Vanderbilt, and Emory Dental School. Dr. Morden

proudly served in the Air Force, practiced as a restorative cosmetic dentist for 42 years in

Buckhead, served as past President and General Chairman of the Hinman Dental Society, a

Member of Northern District Dental Society and was Lifetime member of the ADA.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 31, 2018 at 1:00pm at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Brookhaven, Ga. A funeral service in memory of Dr. Morden will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Ruffin Balley officiating. The

family will be hosting a reception immediately following the service at Highpoint Episcopal

Church of Atonement, 4945 High Point Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30342.
