Hazel Ann Gill Hutcheson, 81, of Atlanta, GA, died on January 30, 2016. A native of Atlanta, she was a graduate of Emory University where she received the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Nursing. She was elected to Sigma Theta Tau, national nursing honor society. She retired from Emory University, Crawford Long Hospital, where she was a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She had held positions as a member of the faculties at Emory University School of Nursing, Medical College of Georgia School of Nursing, and Crawford Long Hospital School of Nursing. She also had been a Consultant Nurse for the Georgia Department of Public Health and National Health Films. She was a communicant of The Episcopal Cathedral of St. Philip and had served as a Docent at the High Museum of Art. She is survived by her nephew, Andrew Ranck of Columbia, South Carolina and several cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at H.M. Patterson and Son Oglethorpe Hill in Brookhaven on Saturday, February 6th at 10AM with a reception following the service.
