James J. Weathers, 81, of Atlanta, passed away January 25, 2012. He is survived by his constant companion, Doris Finger, children and their spouses, Barbara (John) Larsen; Michael (Kathy) Weathers; Brenda Finnegan; grandchildren, Suzanne Griswold; Meredith (Brad) Dillard; Paul Weathers; Michael Finnegan; 1 great-grandchild, Braden Dillard; brothers and sister, Richard and Harold Weathers, Mildred Hammond; Billy and Charles Weathers. Mr. Weathers was a longtime member of Brookhaven United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 29th at 1:30pm at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment Peachtree Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 1957 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 500, Tucker, Georgia, 30084. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 4 to 6 at H.M.
