Janet Ann Lemanski

Born on August 10, 1938, in Glens Falls, New York, Janet attended St. Alphonsus Catholic School through eighth grade and graduated from Glens Falls High School. She continued her education at St. Peter’s Nursing School and later earned her degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Harriet Meron. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Theodore John Lemanski; her sister, Mary Lou Johnson (Larry); her three children, Kristen Schettino (Frank), James Lemanski (Dianne), and Mary Beth Jones; and her six cherished grandchildren—Eric and Kathleen Lemanski, Aidan and Siena Schettino, and Anthony and Addison Jones.

Janet was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her gentle spirit, quick smile, and unwavering support for those she loved. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her quiet strength, and the countless ways she touched the lives of others

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, Maryland 21035. A reception will follow immediately after the service.
