Jimmie Eric Villines

Eric Villines died on February 28, 2016 surrounded by his wife and family. He devoted his heart to his wife, Claire Duplantier Villines, and their young son, Eric Martin Villines. Words can’t adequately describe Eric as a husband, father, son and friend – he touched everyone with his smile, generosity and inclusive attitude. In addition, his positivity and relentless commitment to excellence motivated those around him, from gym friends to colleagues. As Eric’s final days neared, family and friends traveled from near and far to be with him day and night – cracking jokes, shedding tears and encouraging him to be strong. Eric left his mark on all of our hearts and he will always be loved. Please honor and celebrate Eric’s life on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of Christ the King for a Mass and reception. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating via check or online to the Cathedral of Christ the King’s Rainbows Program in recognition of the couple’s 20-month-old son. Rainbows, a nationwide program, provides a peer support group for school-aged children who have suffered significant loss or trauma.
