
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Robert (Bob) Sherrill Griffith, her husband, Mr. Michael Christopher Healy (M.1995) of New York City and by her only son, Henry Foster Terjen of Brooklyn, NY.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Griffith, three nieces and one nephew as well as their extended families
Kitty went to Morris Brandon Elementary, Westminster Schools and Ashley Hall (Charleston, SC) for high school. She was secretary of the Atlanta Debutante Club and a member of the Cotillion and Assemblies.
She received her undergraduate degree from Sweet Briar College in Virginia (1964) followed by a masters degree from Emory University (1968).
While living in Atlanta, Kitty was editor of South Today, Southern Regional Council (1969-1972). She moved to Brooklyn, NY and became editor of Phoenix, Bklyn (1972-73), director of communications NYC of City and Industry (78-79), Director of public liaison NYC Dept. Ports and Terminals (79-80), senior build affairs officer Citicorp/Citibank, NYC (1981-84), Assistant VP First Atlanta Corp, Atlanta, 1984, Senior manager Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, NYC (87-88) Vice President USA corporate Communications (1989 until her retirement) where she directed corporate communications in the United States for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and its investment banking subsidiary Wood Gundy Corp.
Kitty was an active member of her Brooklyn, NY and Atlanta communities. President of 78th precinct Comty County, Brooklyn, Comty Bd 6, member of Southern Regional Council, Atlanta, Board of Directors Atlanta Chamber Players, Women’s Executives in Public Relations, Junior League, Beta Phi Mu, lifelong Democrat and Episcopal .
