Kathleen was a talented seamstress with a deep love for gardening. She dedicated many years of service as the director of the church nursery and was a valued member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milton D. Holland; her brother, Douglas Rodgers; and her parents, English and Viola (Deese) Rodgers.
Kathleen leaves behind her sons, Ray Holland and Rodger (Terri) Holland; her daughter, Janice Holland; her sister, Linda Smith; as well as four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30319. A funeral service will follow from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and a gathering will take place from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse) in Kathleen’s honor.
