

Keith was born at the Pensacola Naval Hospital on Mar 14, 1963.
He spent most of his childhood in the Atlanta area, and attended the Dekalb county public schools. He was a key part of the Briarcliff High School state champion gymnastics team in 1979.
After high school he joined the US Marines and was honor man of his boot camp platoon. His physical fitness was noteworthy, and, drawing on his gymnastics background, he broke the Parris Island pull-up record.
He then served as an Artillery Fire Direction Man with the 10th Marine Regiment at Camp Lejeune, NC.
After the Marines, he moved back to the Atlanta area and married Melinda. After a few years, the light of his life, daughter Kate was born. He was a doting father when Kate was growing up, often taking her fishing.
Meanwhile, he remembered that his entry-level testing in the Marines had shown that he had a math aptitude. He took that aptitude and ran with it, teaching himself all about computers. Despite lacking a college degree, he was in constant demand by employers in his field, Eventually his career took him to the west coast, and by the past decade, he had become a Senior Software Engineer with Charter Communications in Denver, CO.
Keith is survived by his daughter Katherine Taylor, his father Larry Taylor, and his mother Priscilla Yearwood, all of Atlanta.
A memorial service for Keith will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30319 with a reception immediately following service.
