

Kendrick Nelson Reusch, Jr. was born on November 8, 1985 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Kendrick was the first child and only son of Belinda Bunnen Reusch and Kendrick Nelson Reusch. He died on November 16, 2013 at Emory/Crawford Long Hospital. He was 28 years old.
Kendrick is survived by his parents, sisters Melanie Bunnen Reusch and Sarah Lucinda Reusch, grandparents Lucinda Weil Bunnen, the late Dr. Robert L. Bunnen and Helen Nelson Reusch, first cousins Elizabeth, Alison and Philip Bunnen, Jack and Lindy Jernigan, Conrad Reusch, Jonathan and Melissa Tilney, Eric, Elizabeth, Mark and Kristina Koskinen, aunts and uncles Robb Bunnen, Melissa and James Jernigan, Susan Reusch, Cathy and John Tilney, Lindsey and Eric Koskinen, and Monica and Henry Reusch. He is also survived by his loving and devoted Mary Katherine McRae.
Kendrick attended the Lovett School in Atlanta and graduated from Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA, and The University of North Carolina at Asheville. Kendrick was Manager of the Piece of Cake, Inc., Vinings store.
Kendrick was a special part of the Reusch/Bunnen families. Kendrick will be remembered for his heart of gold, and for how much he earnestly cared about the people in his life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Kendrick loved skiing, tennis, fishing, music and dancing. He had a general love for being on the water, especially where he spent many family vacations, including Lake Rabun, DeBordieu, and Chappaquiddick Island. His amazing smile, twinkling eyes, and enthusiasm for life were infectious. Kendrick always had a cheerfulness about him and an ability to inspire lighthearted dancing. He was very personable and was cherished by his many longtime friends.
Kendrick’s spirit will always be with us.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, November 20 from 4-8pm at the Reusch home, 1425 Peachtree Battle Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30327. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21, at 2pm at Patterson’s – Spring Hill, located at 1020 Spring St, NW, Atlanta, GA 30309. At 4:30, following a private burial, friends and family are invited to celebrate Kendrick’s life at Lucinda Bunnen’s home located at 3910 Randall Mill Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30327.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to celebrate Kendrick’s life may be sent to the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (chattahoochee.org) at 916 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
