Lance McCormack passed away suddenly on August 17, 2017. He was born on May 16, 1972, in Houston, TX, to Nancy and Tony McCormack. He attended schools in Texas, Tennessee, New Jersey, Minnesota and Missouri before graduating from The Marist School in Atlanta, GA. He attended undergrad at UGA where he pledged Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and graduated with a bachelor of science degree. After graduation, he was employed with Smith Barney before venturing into the restaurant business by opening "The Taco Stand" in Buckhead and marrying the love of his life, Carrianne Belatti. He leaves behind his wife, Carrianne, three sons, Marshall, Davis and Michael, as well as two siblings, Reed McCormack and Christy McCormack Maguire, along with brothers-n-law Michael and Gregory Belatti, Stephen Maguire and Jason Watson, sisters-n-law; Allison Watson and Annamaria McCormack, and a large host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and many cousins. He was a member of the Buckhead Lions Club and Cherokee Town and Country Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors. The real passion of his life was his family and attending the various athletic activities of his three sons. You always knew Lance was in the stands by his boisterous voice and constant cheering. He touched many lives in his too short stay on this earth as a husband, father, brother, friend and neighbor. He never met a stranger and was always available to help anyone at any time for any reason. A funeral service will be held at Christ the King Church at 10:00am, on Wednesday, August 23, with internment at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs at 201 Mt. Vernon Highway. In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to First Step Staffing Services charity at https://www.gofundme.com/in-memory-of-lance-a-mccormack by Alyson Watson.
