Mrs. Lillian Ford

Lillian Gordon Ford, 88, of Atlanta passed away on December 28, 2012. She was born in Newnan, GA in September of 1924 and married Howard G. Ford in 1949. Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She modeled kindness, the importance of family and education, and a great sense of humor. Lillian loved her church, North Decatur Methodist, and her Kappa Theta sorority sisters. She is preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, and her brother. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Lisa Miller (Bill), grandson, Garn Miller (Rachel), granddaughter, Hayley Miller, sister, Marty Lundstedt (Dennis), and an extraordinary caregiver, Peggie Rankins. Lillian was laid to rest in Decatur City Cemetery on January 2, 2013, with the Rev. James T. Moor officiating.
