Ms. Kathy was my violin teacher for 7/8 years. She nurtured my passion for music and always expected the best from me. She was a constant person in my life growing up, and part of what I am today was shaped by her. I am regretful to have let her fade from my life, and I am even more sorry that the world has lost Ms. Kathy. She was full of life, full of music, and full of laughter, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. I just wanted her family to know that she made a difference and impacted people that you might not know. My sincerest condolences, late as they are.

Tho I moved to Arizona I will never forget Kathy's smile and sweet nature. I was shocked to hear of her death and my prayers go out to her family. Tho I was far away - I never forgot her and will try to keep her lovely memory alive.

As we live our own lives, we sometimes drift apart from our friends and family. I find that as time passes, I regret this sad reality more and more. I believe Kathy knows that my absence from her life did not represent a diminuation of my love for her, and I send my earnest prayers and my love to her friends and her family in this time of sadness. I treasure the memories of our youth, and the wonderful times we spent with Kathy, and I will keep these always.

I had the pleasure of working with Kathy for years as a musician.  She always had a smile and a great sense of humor. She coined us the "stereo Kathys", as we were always on opposite sides of the orchestra. She was a wonderful colleague, and will be sorely missed.

Charlie--I am so sorry to hear about your sister.  You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I was so saddened to hear the news of the loss of Kathy this morning. My prayers are with her family and friends in this difficult time.

We miss your laugh. We miss your smile. We miss your love. You touched the earth and all of our hearts with your complete beauty. You will always be in my and our hearts. As your neighbor and childhood friend, I have so many happy memories of growing up together.  I am so very fortunate to have visited you this summer and had the opportunity to recall those memories and laugh together about our younger days.  I am so glad we had that time to remember, to smile and to laugh together.  Thank you so very much Kathy…thank you.
Kathy, you shared your gifts and yourself with all of us in so many beautiful ways. You moved us and entertained us like no other.  So many wonderful things can be said about you as a person and your incredible talent but what I admire and appreciate most about you is that you truly lived your passion like absolutely no one else I know.  You have left your mark on time in so many ways.  Those you taught and those with whom you shared your knowledge, skill and passion will carry a part of you in them forever.  They in turn will share with others, as you did, and in that way, you and your passion for your music will live forever and ever more. 
Though I am so very sad, I cannot help but gently smile because I know Heaven sounds more beautiful than ever… you are there playing ever so beautifully and passionately.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.  Our neighborhood will never be the same without your beautiful smile and warming friendship.  You will continue to live in our hearts forever.  We are so blessed to have known you.

I do not have the words to express the sadness I feel, so many memories flood my heart. I know that we all get caught up in our lives and we forget to let our family know how much we care but know that I love you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you, Kathy will be missed.

  Kathy was an extraordinary musical princess and an angel with a heart of gold. I felt really blessed having been friends with her; her music was inspiring and ethereal, at the same time she demonstrated fortitude and wisdom beyond her years. When she played her violin it was heavenly; yet she never
caused the less-talented to feel envy or emnity.Her Mom and Dad should be
really proud and happy because she had the ability and power to captivate
and bless anyone who ever met her.

Kathy was a wonderful colleague and friend to many of us who played and worked with her.  We are so sad to no longer have her among us, but know that she touched many of us in incredibly positive and loving ways, and I personally am so thankful to have known her - she is one of the many who has made my life here in Atlanta so rich and full.  My family and I will be remembering all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

I know we never kept in touch through the years and that is regretable but I have memories.  I remember how you used to call me Framela when you were little and how much you hated to have your picture taken.  I'm so grateful that I was able to spend the day with you two years ago at your parents house.  That has given me more memories and pictures of us together.  You are a sweet spirit and I will always smile when I imagine your face.  God be with your family through this loss and I hope they find peace in knowing that you are in the company of many loved ones.  Love to you always from your cousin.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of Kathys passing. My heart goes out to The Pritchard & Stewart Families in this sad time. Please know that you are loved and now have a Guardian Angel always watching over you. My deepest sympathy to all members of the family.

Your talent is unquestioned and your spirit unchallenged.  I will dearly miss our chats, and your strength of character.  Your ability shined through any time I asked you to bring the ‘fiddle’ and play, …  your wisdom allowed me to stand up for myself even when my heart questioned that decision.
You are a woman among women, ready to face any challenge and see it through.  I am only saddened by the loss of a dear  &  graceful ‘pilot’ who blessed so many with her talent and love.

I will never forget you,and all the love that you showed me after I married your baby sister.You where and are more like the sister I never had.The memories over the last 20 years are many,and they will live in my heart forever.I don't know how I will get through Christmas.You sat next to me at my dining room table for Christmas dinner for the last 20 years.When dinner was done it was always you and me who did the dishes.Why? because we where the only ones who loaded the dish washer correctly.Kathy my heart breaks that you where called home.This Christmas no one will sit in your seat,it will be set,but no  will sit there,and it will be the hardest Christmas ever.

Dear Kathy, 
 Be proud of me, it only took me three attempt to leave this message. While I am sitting and preparing your memorial service, I have had a day to reflect on the memories of growing up with you. As a result, all I can do is laugh. I have always been proud of my "older sister", and the talent you had with a violin. I have met some wonderful friends and neighbors of yours in the past few days, and realize that you were truly lucky. Now that the fight is over, you can rest. YOU FINISHED THE DRILL. You were so amazingly tough. Though you are gone, no one can ever take the memories away from me. I raise a glass in your honor, and promise to see you again.  I love you forever, and hold my head high for being your "little brother". Godspeed darlin'.
