Margaret (Peg) McDermott Cavanagh of Atlanta died November 19, 2012. Mrs. Cavanagh was a self employed peer counselor as well as a homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kane Cavanagh, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ellen C and Thomas Roper; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael R. and Connie Cavanagh, Christopher R. Cavanagh, Peter W. and Ann Cavanagh; grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Devin, Matt, Nicole and Karlyn; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Peter F. and Dorrie Cavanagh. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24th at 2 o’clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment Arlington Memorial Park. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Georgia, 41 Perimeter Center East, Atlanta, GA 30346.
