Marlee Chambers Franklin

Marlee Chambers Franklin passed into the arms of Jesus on April 13, 2022, after a long illness. She was a devoted daughter and dog mom, a hard worker and friend to many. She graduated from Briarcliff High School and attended West Georgia College (now the University of West Georgia). She was a lifelong member of downtown’s Atlanta First United Methodist Church where she had many longtime family friends and was one of the leaders of the homeless meal service program for a number of years, assisting in the cooking of meals for nearly 300 each month of her service. She used her Southern charm, quick wit, and ability to draw out people during her years as a business development representative for PTC, formerly Servigistics, where she touched many lives of co-workers and clients. She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Margaret (Johnston) Chambers and is survived by numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her honor.

A graveside service for Marlee will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt Vernon Hwy NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, followed by a reception from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Arlington Memorial Park Pavilion.
