Mary Paul Parsons Ford

Mary Paul Ford (nee Parsons), a fine Southern Gentlewoman, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the age of 96. Originally from Nashville TN. She had lived in Atlanta since 1944. She was proceded in death by her husband J, Kenneth Ford, Sr. and her parents, R. Pollard Parsons, a former VP of the US Lawn Tennis Association and Louise Harvill Parsons, a renowned organist/pianist of Nashville TN. And a brother Robert P. Parsons Jr. of Largo FL. She is a US Navy verteran of WWII. She was a charter member of St. James Methodist Church in Atlanta and is survived by a daughter Shirley Ann Hudson (Joel) of Roswell and sons J. Kenneth Ford, Jr. (Lucille) of Louisville , KY. Thomas A Ford (Lynn) of Cold Spring KY; and Paul Harvill Ford of New York City. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She enjoyed every minute of her life and is now celebrating her new life in heaven.

Services will be held Monday October 7 at high noon at Church of the Atonement 4945 High Point Rd. Sandy Springs GA.With interment at Arlington Memorial Park at 2:00pm. Online condolences may be made at hmpattersonspringhill.com
