Mary "Jeanette" Robinson, age 82, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014. She was born in Atlanta on January 2, 1932 and graduated from Girls School. Jeanette went on to become the Co-owner of Decorator Studio and was a Secretary at Ronnie"s Ala-Cart catering company. She is survived by her son, Steven E. Robinson and daughter, Valerie (Michael) Barker; grandchildren, Michael Barker and Jessica Platz; great-grandchildren, Madison Platz, Hunter Platz, Ease Barker, Suzanna Barker, and Parker Platz; brother, Ronni Shiflet. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie Faye and Jessie Leroy Shiflet. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12-2 and the service will begin at 2:00 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
