Maxine M. Hurst of Chamblee, Georgia pass- ed away and joined her beloved husband, Fred Hurst, Wednesday, August 18, 2010. She was born in Blue Ridge, Georgia, June 9, 1925. Mrs. Hurst was a long time member of Clairmont Baptist Church where she served in the Pre-School and Daycare Departments for many years. Her greatest joy was her family. She was a true friend to many in the community. She is survived by her son Michael and wife Carol, daughter Freda Hurst Stoll and Terry Mercer, her grandchildren Steven Stoll and wife Kelle, Alan Stoll, Amanda Stoll Shilling and husband Brad, two step grandchildren, Molly Moore and husband Billy, Daren Painter, six great grandchildren and brother Joseph P. Mull. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, August 21, at 2:15 pm at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel with Reverend Mike Murphy officiating. Visitation for friends and family will be from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service.
