Michael Pierce Allgood

Michael Pierce Allgood died January 13, 2014 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by his father Dr. Pierce Allgood, mother Martha Arant Allgood, and sister Lyn Allgood. He is survived by his wife Jody Wiliams Allgood, step-mother Mrs. Lu Allgood, brother Philip Arant Allgood, sister Susan Allgood Heberton (George), niece Martha Allgood Hastings (Patrick), nephews Carter Allgood, Grant Herberton (Meghan), Sam Heberton (Jessica), Jack Heberton and great nephew Pierce Hastings.

Michael graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian College and the Georgia State University College of Law. His career included service with the Department of the Army and the Department of Labor. He was a past president of the Phi Delta Phi Province 9 legal fraternity, past president of the Georgia Canine Coalition, and member of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Greater Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Homefront, 222 Lakeview Avenue #1630, West Palm Beach, FL 33401, or the Georgia State University Inn of Phi Delta phi, 1426 21st Street NW, Washington, DC 20036. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18 at 1 PM at Spring Hill with interment following at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial.
