Mildred Hayes Berry, 89 of Atlanta, died February 20, 2018. Mrs. Berry was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church. She worked for the Georgia Department of Commerce, Sears Roebuck and retired from the Georgia State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Survivors include her sons, Gifford Lee Berry and Franklin Berry; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; niece, Cathy Lawrence. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 6 at 11 o’clock at Spring Hill with inurnment to follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson & Son, Spring Hill, 1020 Spring Street, NW, Atlanta, Georgia, 30309.
