Nancy Bruce Hill

Born in Seneca, South Carolina, January 5, 1947, to Cullen and Neva Bruce, Nancy was an excellent student and received a degree from Marsh-Draughon Business College.

She was a devoted mother to her two sons and a loving wife to Richard for 44 years. She served as the President of the DeKalb County PTAduring her sons' childhoods and then worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Oconee County and subsequently the President's Office at the University of Georgia.

Nancy is survived by her husband Richard Hill; her sons Rick Hill and Matt Hill; her daughters-in-law Ashley Hill and Amy Hill; her grandsons Trey and Drew Hill; her sister Pat Orlop; her niece Heather Miner; and her nephews Alan Hayes, Greg Hayes and Brad Hayes.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2010, at H.M. Patterson and Sons Funeral Home, Spring Hill, 1020 Spring Street, N.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30309. A reception at the Cherokee Town Club will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
