Nancy G. Sowers 81 died Feb. 2, 2016 after a years treatment for bone cancer. She was born in Syracuse, NY moved to Atlanta in 1969 with her family. Nancy is survived by her husband John, daughters Ann Willingham, Barbara Sowers, Julie Cox and seven grandchildren. After college she went to nursing school and was a nurse in two psych. and substance abuse clinics. She was an avid reader. enjoyed water aerobics and travel to many countries. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 5 at 2 o’clock at Oglethorpe Hill.
