Preston David Aguillard

Preston was the kind of person you never forgot — joyful, hilarious, deeply caring, and unapologetically authentic. He had a rare ability to lift spirits and see the good in every situation. His optimism wasn’t just a trait — it was a way of life. No matter where he was or what he was facing, Preston carried an unshakable belief in brighter days ahead.

He was a devoted and loving father to Valor Aguillard and Tyler Wells, and a beloved husband and lifelong friend to their mother, his high school sweetheart, Carly Wells. The love they shared and the family they built together were the center of his world.

Preston is survived by his children, Valor and Tyler; his parents, Sandi McGrew and Roddy & Sheri Aguillard; his brothers — Roderick, Evander, Xavier and his little sister, Olivia. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who were touched by his warmth, humor, and unwavering love.

A celebration of Preston’s life will be held on November 1st at 11:00 am at Lifehouse Church,3556 Airline Highway Reserve, La.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to support the future of baby Valor— a cause that would mean the world to Preston. Information on how to donate will be shared at the service and through family contacts.

Preston will be missed more than words can express, but his joy, his laughter, and his love will live on in his children and in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
