Robert Trenton Gunter, 92, of Atlanta died August 19, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cornelia (Connie) Wright Gunter. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Mahlon Houseknecht (Georgia) of Lilburn, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mr. Gunter Grew up in Cleveland, GA and graduated from Cleveland High School. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was honorably discharged in March 1946. He was a member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church where he and Mrs. Gunter were active while their health permitted. He was owner of Tru-Kut, Inc, a distributor of cutting tools and other related products. He was active in his professional associations and was a life long Mason. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 23 at 2 o’clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30319.
