Robert Kane Cavanagh, 89, of Atlanta, died February 6, 2011. A Navy veteran of WWII, Mr. Cavanagh was employed with Crown Central Petroleum Corporation for 35 years. Survivors include his wife, Margaret M. Cavanagh, daughter and son-in-law, Ellen C. and Thomas Roper, sons and daughters-in-law, Michael R. and Connie Cavanagh, Christopher R. Cavanagh, Peter W. and Ann Cavanagh, grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Devin, Matt, Nicole and Karlyn, brother and sister-in-law, Peter F. and Dorrie Cavanagh and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11th at 2 o’clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Interment Arlington Memorial Park. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1350 Hearst Dr. Atlanta, Georgia, 30319 or the American Cancer Society.
