

Bob was born in Quincy, Illinois to Gene & Lodell Mosley on November 2, 1933. He had two brothers, Carl Gene and Ronald. Bob spent his early years in Mexico, Missouri until his family moved to Homestead, Florida.
Bob was a very good athlete and earned many awards and held several records at Redland High School in baseball and track. He was drafted by the San Fransisco Giants and played in their farm league.
He went on to the University of Miami. After his third year, he left school to serve in the Army. He returned to Homestead to marry Janet Barnett and had two children, Robin and Marc. He worked for his father-in-law in the tomato farming industry.
In the early 80’s, Bob moved to Nashville where he met and married Beverly Wheeler. He started a trucking brokerage business and enjoyed good success until he retired. In 2019, Bob moved to Atlanta to be closer to Marc’s family.
Bob’s greatest joy was seeing his children and grand children participate in their various events. He loved telling them stories of his life.
Bob is survived by his wife Beverly Mosley of Fort Myers, FL: daughter Robin Sellers and husband Dan of Chesterfield, MO, son Marc Mosley and wife Nicole of Atlanta, GA: step daughter Jill Wheeler of Birmingham, AL, step daughter Beth Wheeler of Atlanta, GA, step son Jimmy Wheeler and wife Molly of Franklin, TN: brother Carl Gene Mosley of Lake Mary, FL: grandson Corbin Sellers of Chicago, IL, grandson Zach Wheeler of Franklin, TN, granddaughter Abby Wheeler of Franklin, TN, grandson Mills Mosley of Atlanta, GA, grandson Cameron Sellers of Chesterfield, IL, granddaughter Frances Mosley of Atlanta, GA and grandson Levitt Mosley of Atlanta, GA: great-grandson Griffin Wheeler of Franklin, TN.
