Mrs. Bottoms was a home maker most of her life. She was dedicated and involved member at St. James United Methodist Church in Atlanta. She was the Sunday School Class President, Wedding Coordinator and part of the Hands Bell Ensemble where she enjoyed using her musical talents. She enjoyed playing tennis, bridge and being a member of her Garden Club. She was a devoted wife, mother and her grandchildren were her delight. She was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Bessye Hardin, Charles Bottoms - husband, her beloved daughter, Beverly Claire Bottoms and Daughtry King- sister.
Survivors include her son, Rev. Benson Bottoms (Lynne Weston Bottoms); Daughter, Andrea Hardin Bottoms; loving Grandchildren, Bo Bottoms and Mary Hamilton Bottoms; and Brother, Allen Hardin (Chris).
Family will have a Graveside Service Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 9:45 AM at Decatur Cemetery and a memorial services to follow at St. James United Methodist Church at 11 AM.
