Terence Edward Douglas

Terence was born on January 27, 1959, in Savannah, GA, to James Thomas Douglas, Jr. and Betty Ann VonRunnen Douglas. He graduated from Briarcliff High School in 1977 and attended the University of Georgia where he was an avid Bulldog fan. He worked as a golf professional and in the beverage industry for over 40 years in Savannah, Macon, Augusta, and Atlanta.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Betty Douglas; and his older brother, Tommy Douglas.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry Douglas (Carol); sister-in-law, Dawn Douglas; nephews, John Douglas (Melonee) of Clifton, Va., Thomas Douglas (Rina) of Haymarket, Va., and Scott Douglas of Asheville, NC; one great-nephew and four great-nieces, Jack, Madeleine, Caroline, Molly, and Virginia Douglas.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:30 am at H.M. Patterson & Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road NE. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., before the service. A private graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey, Savannah, GA.
