Tomas was a graduate of Youth Challenge Academy at Ft. Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. He received the State Service Scholarship and was attending Georgia Military College in Milledgeville. He served with distinction in C company 3rd/108th Calvary (Airborne). Based at Fulton County Airport. He also attended Ashford Elementary, St. Martin’s Episcopal School, Chamblee Middle and Chamblee High School, where he played football. He was a 5 year member of the Atlanta Colts Football Travel team. He has two sisters, Hannah and Lauren as well as two brothers Kyle and Landon; grandparents, Marilee and Glenn Chipman, Roman and Teresa Serrano. Tomas was also a beloved member of Brookhaven Disciples of Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Brookhaven Christian Church with Rev. Brad Miller officiating.The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at HM Patterson's Oglethorpe Hill Chapel.
