

Amanda was a woman full of life and possessed a spirit unlike any other. Her laughter was truly contagious, something her family cherished deeply and will forever hold close in their hearts. She had a way of bringing warmth and joy to those around her, leaving lasting impressions on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Taylor Nance, and her beloved “Momma,” Lorrie McCormick.
Amanda is survived by her loving siblings: Michelle (David) Mathis, Barry (Andrea) Gilliam, Cory (Zachary) Gilliam, Jillian (Louis) Gilliam, and Katie Gilliam. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will continue to carry her memory forward.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Northside Rehab, Gentiva Hospice, and the compassionate nurses in the ICU and PCU at Riverview Regional Medical Center for the exceptional care provided. Special thanks are also given to Adalida, Huxley, and Nevaeh for their kindness and support during Amanda’s final months. The family is deeply appreciative of everyone who showed her love and comfort in her final days.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Amanda’s life. She will be cremated in accordance with her wishes.
Amanda will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her loving heart, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
