Celia Ronette Laverne Evans Irby age 57 of Gadsden passed away September 14, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Morgan Funeral Chapel will Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service 6 until 7p.m.
Ronette was a 1983 graduate of Litchfield High School. Post-graduation, she joined the United States Army and served as a M.P.
Ronette worked post military at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. She was a Youth Pastor and Drama-Dance Team Minster and a true warrior in her Christian Faith. She enjoyed Political Debates, sewing, reading and gardening. Ronette was our rock and our true north and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Milton Campbell; grandparents, Harold and Gladys Jackson; grandfather, Jess Harris; uncle, Scott Campbell; father in law, William F. Irby Jr.; sister, Penny Monticello; and aunt, Cassandra Campbell.
Ronette is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Floyd Irby III; children, Cassie, Krisi, and Stephen Cassway; grandchildren, Lily, Cason, Pierce and Milo; parents, David and Lucinda Evans; mother in law; Martha A. Irby; grandmother, Elva Dene Seguin; aunts and uncles; Jim Campbell, Dale (Gina) Seguin, Rick (Rita) Jackson, Sudie (Benny) Henry; sister, Raylene Evans-Paulk; brothers, Buddy and Justin Evans; nieces, Jaime Moses, Heather Evans, Kirsten (Jacob) Fata and Skye Evans; nephews, Jacob (Cindy) Green, Taylor Evans, Nick, Jesse and T.J. (Marie) Monticello; great nieces, Ava, Angel, Alyssa, Annsley, Reese, Reighn, Charlie, Camdyn and Luna; great nephews, Colton and Enzo; cousins, Steve (Sally) Henry, Wayne Henry, Lisa and Sylvia Harris, Michelle Demoss, Chris and Nicholas Jackson; special friends, Linda Richmond, Kelly Mitchell, Jan Bladorn, Karen Ezell, Tina McDaniel, and Randy Jenkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior or American Lung Association, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
