Clarence D Dover

Clarence passed away from this life to be with Jesus on November 7, 2021. He was a loving and very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the United States Army from 1959-1963. He owned and operated Dover’s Garage in Rainbow City from 1963 until 1996.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Betty Kate Dover; parents, Leonard and Bell Dover; brothers, Stanley Dover, Ray Dover, Randy Dover and sister, Sherry Morgan.

Clarence leaves behind to cherish his memory, son, Steve (Donna) Dover; son, Gary (Jamie) Dover; daughter, Linda (Darrell) Jones; grandchildren, Mike (Jenny) Dover, Abby Dover, Jennifer (Lane) Dudley, Hannah Faith Jones, Darren Bradley Jones, Bethanie Autumn Jones; brothers, Max (Deni) Dover, Jeff (Tracy) Dover; and sister, Dot Huie.

The family will accept friends from 11:30 until 1p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel prior to the service. A very special thanks to Encompass Hospice whose nurses and staff were very compassionate and professional during our time of need.
