David Nichols

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at New Harmony Baptist Church in Reece City, AL. Private time for family members will be Saturday at the church from 12 to 1, with visitation for friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Services will by officiated by Curtis Mason. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

David was a beloved father, brother and son. He attended Etowah High School, was a graduate of Gadsden Business College and enjoyed attending football games and was an avid fan of the University of Alabama athletics. David came to faith in Jesus by trusting in Him for salvation. Despite extensive suffering during his long illness he perpetually exhibited patience, humility and great courage.

David is survived by; His daughter, Breanna Nichols. Grandsons, Davien and Averyn. Mother, Rita Speer. Father and step-mom, Roy and Wanda Nichols. Brothers, Chris Nichols and John (Amanda) Nichols. Sisters, Courtney (Matthew) Dycus and Whitney (Tim) Terry. Grandmother, Mary Nichols. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
