Donald Bowden

Donald “Donnie” Bowden, 60 of Rainbow City passed away January 1, 2022. Funeral Service will be at 2p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tommy Marshall officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12 until 2p.m. Burial will be at Providence Church Cemetery in Ragland.

Donnie worked in Louisiana on the Oil Rigs and for Bufford Tree Surgeons. He was also a Bouncer. Donnie was a loving daddy, pawpaw, husband, and friend. He loved his children and grandchildren very much his fur baby dog, Molly Jean. Donnie enjoyed watching Auburn Football and loved car racing. Donnie will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his daddy, Jerry Bowden; mother, Carol Lee Friddle; brother, Dennis Bowden; and grandmother, Dovie Bowden.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas (Jessica) Bowden; daughter, Chastity (Monta) Bowden; grandchildren, Otha, Oliva, and Austin; ex wife and special friend, Susan Harcrow Bowden.

Pallbearers will be son, Nicholas Bowden, Keith James, Monta, and his great friend, Ed Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hayden Alldredge, Craig Alldredge, and Oliva, Otha, and Austin Bowden.
