Douglas Lee Brandon

Douglas “Doug” Lee Brandon, 53 of Ashville passed away September 27, 2021. Funeral Service will be at 1p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 until 1p.m. Burial will be at Old Harmony Cemetery.

Douglas as born in Gadsden, Alabama and resided in Ashville, Alabama. Those who knew Douglas, know he was always up for a good time, whether it was fishing, hunting or watching Alabama Football. He was a devoted dad and pawpaw. Douglas devoted the last few years caring for his parents, who he loved very much.

Doug was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He leaves behind these people who cherish his memory; his parents, Edwin and Elizabeth Brandon; his daughter, Andrea Morgan (Brandon Byers); his son, Jacob (Lauren) Brandon; grandchildren, Emma Morgan and Cason Dugger, Travis Owen Brandon; brother, Edwin (Patricia) Brandon; sister, Debra Farrell, Terri Harmon, Lisa Walch (Alan); his former wife of 20 years, Sherry Brandon; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Shane Dugger, Brian Roberts, Lee Bearden, Edwin Brandon, Bernie Griffith, and Robbie “Brute” Newton.
